Any concept in any subject can be explained in a way that a student would love and understand or dislike and be confused about. The most important aspect of learning a new concept is to truly understand it. Especially in the sciences and mathematics, each lesson is a building block to improve the overall knowledge in a particular course. My primary approach when teaching is to introduce different perspectives that may not be taught in the classroom. Each student has a unique way of viewing the world and I spend extra time to ensure that I am teaching each lesson in a way that they will fully appreciate. 

In my private tutoring lessons, I primarily revisit difficult concepts to ensure that the student has a proper grasp of the lesson, in addition to helping with school homework. Additionally, I aim to engage the student's curiosity and desire to learn new things. I am encouraging and accommodating, and I am well aware of the commonplace issue of burnout from school and online learning. I find new and exciting ways to engage the student's critical thinking skills and I do my best to make difficult or boring subjects fun!
